12 Foods You Can Put in Your Hair

1. Avocado

You probably have ripening avocados on your kitchen counter. Try massaging some into your hair from the middle of the shaft to the ends.

2. Coconut Oil

Avoid purchasing costly hair oils. To soothe split ends, rub a few droplets of coconut oil into the tips of your mane.

3. Apple Cider Vinegar

A monthly rinse with white vinegar eliminates residue to improve luster and volume.

4. Cornstarch

This can be sprinkled on the roots of light to medium-haired individuals to absorb excess oil. Simply ensure that you thoroughly spin out the excess.

5. Champagne

Enhance your highlights by shampooing your hair with it.

6. Egg

To strengthen and add luster to your hair, apply a whipped egg to dry hair, wrap it in a towel for 20 minutes.

7. Mayonnaise

After shampooing, massage mayonnaise through your hair and cover it with a shower turban for twenty minutes.

8. Ketchup

If your hair turns green after swimming in a chlorinated pool, massage ketchup into it and let it remain for twenty minutes.

9.Tea

Brew a few glasses of Earl Grey tea, allow it to cool, and then use it to rinse your hair after shampooing.

10. Yogurt

Massage a pint of plain yogurt into your scalp so that the lactic acid can remove buildup of dead skin cells and promote quicker hair growth.

11. Honey + Olive Oil

For a hair masque, combine a quarter cup of honey and a quarter cup of olive oil. The honey hydrates, while the olive oil imparts luster.
