1. Berries

Before storing them in the refrigerator, cleanse berries, the berries, and other berries with a 1:3 solution of vinegar and water.


This kills mold, which can extend the expiration life by several weeks.

2. Lettuce

Don't worry if you've prepared excessive lettuce. Retain unused leaves in a receptacle lined with a paper towel and sealed with plastic wrap.


The towel will absorb moisture, preventing your foliage from becoming soggy and discolored.

3. Avocado

When avocado enzymes are exposed to oxygen, they produce a brown pigment.


Spritz it with lemon or lime juice to prevent it from oxidizing. 

4. Watermelon

They were sliced into thick slabs. Wrap them in plastic wrap and refrigerate them after they have been cut.

5. Carrots
