Holly Johnson, the frontman of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, is set to headline next year's Sunshine Music Festival in Worcestershire.
The festival is scheduled to take place in Upton-upon-Severn from August 22 to 25, featuring a lineup that includes David Essex, Jason Donovan, and The Levellers.
Steve Cass, the organizer, expressed his excitement, mentioning that another headline act would be revealed on New Year's Eve.
The festival, held at Fish Meadow, boasts five stages, along with family entertainment and a circus.
This announcement marks the 15th anniversary of the Sunshine Festival, and Cass acknowledged the support of those who have been attending since its inception.
Despite the success of past editions featuring artists like Ronan Keating and Status Quo, Cass admitted that securing new acts for the lineup has become a bit challenging.
The festival offers a camping experience and has been a popular choice over the August bank holiday weekend.
Tickets for the event are available for purchase online, providing an opportunity for music enthusiasts to plan their attendance.
